The purpose of this policy is:

The quality provision of moderation practices.

• The management of evidence collection facilitators, assessors, RPL advisors, moderators and outsourced assessment and/or moderation agencies.

The benefits of the policy are:

• To ensure consistency in the quality of moderation practices.
• To ensure clear and coherent descriptions of the ways in which the management of assessments and moderation are practiced.
• To ensure alignment to the NQF principles, in that the Organisation’s moderation incorporate principles of lifelong learning, recognition of prior learning and integration of theory and practice.
